How to make a Background Tile
Preparation:
Open the Tag you want to use in psp.
Image Resize / Width 400 / Height 400 / Pixels.
Resample Using checked / Smart Size.
Maintain Original Print Size unchecked.
Lock Aspect Ratio unchecked.
Resize all Layers checked.
Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen.
We do the preparation to make sure the tag is symmetric all
sides equal.
Using the built in Effects: Image
Effects.
Option 1:
Tile 1:
Activate your tag in the Layer Palette.
Effects / Image Effects / Seamless Tiling.
Settings: Tiling Method Edge Checked / Direction Bidirectional checked / Settings Width% 50
/ Transition% 50 Click Ok.
/ Transition% 50 Click Ok.
Tile 2:
Activate your tag in the Layer Palette.
Effects / Image Effects / Seamless Tiling.
Settings: Tiling Method Edge Checked / Direction Horizontal checked / Settings Width% 50 /
Transition% 50 Click Ok.
Settings: Tiling Method Edge Checked / Direction Horizontal checked / Settings Width% 50 /
Transition% 50 Click Ok.
Option 2:
Using the Plugin called Simple.
Tile 1:
Activate your tag in the Layer Palette.
Effects / Plugins / Simple / Settings: Diamonds.
Effects / Plugins / Simple / Settings: Diamonds.
Tile 2:
Activate your tag in the Layer Palette.
Effects / Plugins / Simple / Settings: Half Wrap.
Effects / Plugins / Simple / Settings: Half Wrap.
Tile 3:
Activate your tag in the Layer Palette.
Effects / Plugins / Simple / Settings: Zoom Out and Flip.
Effects / Plugins / Simple / Settings: Zoom Out and Flip.
( Note you can use the Simple Plugin / Diamonds on all the tiles
mentioned as an extra effect ).
